Well, today was my first Mother's day as an official mother, and it was lovely. I got pretty flowers, 4 cards and 2 books, I got to sleep in, I got to have a very nice snuggle with the little laddy, and then I got to send him away for the day so that I could have breakfast and shop with my mom and sister, and then go for a run. It was all very good. Meanwhile, Benjamin was out partying it up with the Matlicks. And he got a fancy new toy drum, which not only makes electronic music, but also sings in Spanish! He figured it out immediately and will be fluent soon.
